Shikha Makan is an independent film director in Indian advertising, with a forte in beauty, bikes, humour & musicals! Her narrative & story telling work includes Amazon Prime Video’s anthology ‘Unpaused Naya Safar’ and the critically acclaimed social film ‘Bachelor Girls’, that premiered at the prestigious CAAM Fest, International Asian American Film Festival and streamed on Netflix worldwide.

A Masters in Psychology from Delhi University, she used to erstwhile Radio jockeying on Delhi FM. She is also an alumni of Japan Foundation’s JENESYS programme, hosted by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Japan and has worked as a researcher on projects for BBC Channel 4. She used lyrical treatments to explore melodies & quirks in soundscapes.

She works with her instincts and using that delves deeper into moods, emotions, colours & textures.
